Atelier

The Atelier is our special place for creation. Here children can plan, cut, draw, join, construct, paint, experiment, take things apart, and make something completely their own. You can also meet Mr Beaver Bot and choose from the many materials available.

There is usually a guided art experience on offer, but children never have to follow our idea. They might begin with it and take it somewhere else entirely, or arrive with a plan of their own.

We put recycled and repurposed materials alongside quality art tools on purpose. Giving children beautiful, real materials tells them we respect them as capable creators. The process matters far more to us than making something that looks a particular way. Made here, by children, entirely on purpose:
